En-Vahan is built by BlinnApps. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains exactly what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is stored and protected.
1. Who we are
En-Vahan is a mobile application developed and maintained by BlinnApps, an independent app studio based in India. You can contact us at blinnapps@gmail.com.
2. What data we collect
We collect only the data necessary to provide the app's core features:
- Google account information — your name and email address, collected when you sign in with Google. This is used solely to identify your account and personalise your experience.
- Vehicle information — make, model, year, registration number, fuel type, and odometer readings that you enter manually.
- Service records — service types, dates, costs, workshop names, and notes that you log for each vehicle.
- Documents — document types, expiry dates, and reminder preferences that you set. Photos of documents (insurance, PUC, etc.) are stored locally on your device only and are not uploaded to our servers.
- Profile information — driving licence details you optionally enter in the Profile screen.
3. What data we do NOT collect
- We do not collect your location or GPS data.
- We do not collect payment information of any kind.
- We do not use advertising SDKs or share data with advertisers.
- We do not sell your data to any third party.
- We do not track your behaviour across other apps or websites.
4. How we store your data
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase Firestore, a cloud database service provided by Google LLC. Each user's data is strictly isolated — only you can access your own data, enforced by Firebase Security Rules. Google's infrastructure is ISO 27001, SOC 1, SOC 2, and SOC 3 certified.
Document photos you upload are stored locally on your device only and are not transferred to our servers or any cloud storage.
5. How we use your data
We use your data exclusively to:
- Display your vehicles, service history, and documents within the app
- Show expiry warnings for documents where you have enabled reminders
- Personalise your in-app experience (e.g., displaying your name)
We do not use your data for marketing, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the app's features.
6. Third-party services
En-Vahan uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Google Sign-In — for authentication. Google Privacy Policy

7. Data retention
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete a vehicle or document within the app, it is permanently removed from our database. If you wish to delete all your data, contact us at blinnapps@gmail.com and we will delete your account and all associated data within 7 business days.
8. Children's privacy
En-Vahan is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time by signing out and requesting account deletion

10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
